Unavailability of NPA Cyber Security Assessments on SOLAR

Please share this information with colleagues in your centre who deliver the following qualifications: 

  • NPA Cyber Security: SCQF 4 (GK7W 44) 
  • NPA Cyber Security: SCQF 5 (GK7X 45) 
  • NPA Cyber Security: SCQF 6 (GK7Y 46) 


The SOLAR assessments for these qualifications will be unavailable from Monday 12 October to Wednesday 14 October 2026 to allow for updates. Please note that these updates do not impact the assessment content. 

During this time, you will not be able to schedule or deliver these assessments. Please ensure that any scheduled assessments are completed before 5pm on Friday 9 October. Any assessments that are not completed by this date will need to be rescheduled when the updated assessments become available. 

The updated assessments will be available to schedule and deliver from Thursday 15 October 2026.
